My name is David, I am 27 years old and I was born in Ourense, Galicia. I am passionate about science and technology. I am a curious, creative and very perfectionist person.  

From very early on I was sure that I wanted to dedicate myself to the world of software development, and that's why I graduated in Computer Science in 2019. During those years I fell in love with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the immense range of possibilities it offers, having the opportunity to start working as a researcher that same year in the LIDIA group at the University of A Coruña.

Feeling tiny in front of the enormous extension that AI encompasses motivated me to want to learn more, so in 2020 I graduated from the master's degree in Artificial Intelligence Research, while continuing my work as a researcher.

Naturally I continued this stage by getting my Ph.D. in Computing (2024), focusing my work on Anomaly Detection and its application on different fields such as Predictive Maintenance, Natural Language, Edge Computing and Federated Learning.

My goal at the moment is to transfer the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years into the industry, designing and implementing novel solutions based on Machine Learning. In March 2024 I started working as Data Scientist in SDG Group.
